EmPOWERing meeting in Cascais

On September 18-19, the POWER consortium held its second transnational project meeting in Cascais, Portugal.

The consortium members from Portugal, Greece, Italy, Bulgaria, Spain and Hungary gathered to discuss and work together on some crucial project-related topics.

On the first day, ANCE gave an update on the overall management, including key milestones and deliverables achieved. Then, SEA held a comprehensive presentation about the research phase.

Later on, UFEC led the partners through the strategy formulation and the process of developing guidelines, which is the upcoming step in the project. The consortium will develop actionable and culturally relevant strategies for equitable media representation, led by UFEC.

After a great team-building evening filled with Portuguese culinary experiences, on the second day, the partners talked about the communication and awareness-raising aspects of the project. BAIS and ANCE gave presentations on these topics and invited the partners to brainstorm on further promoting the initiative Europe-wide.

Next up is publishing the research findings and promoting the project through info days in every partner’s country. At the same time, it’s time to start working on the strategy and guidelines!
